"Music" is a song by American singer Madonna from her 2000 album Music. The song was released as a single in August 2000. The male-sounding voice at the beginning of the song is in fact Madonna's voice heavily transformed. It was nominated for Record of the Year, but lost to U2's Beautiful Day. .

Legal Music Sites By Groshan Fabiola Downloading from the internet is not as hard to do as many people assume. Recently people have been weary to the fact that sites have been sharing their illegally. Certain websites, have in fact been downloading, and giving out MP3 songs without the artists permission. This means that the artist has not been making money from their hits. Instead, they have been losing money because nobody is buying their albums, and instead getting illegal free downloads. Before recently, it has been difficult to distinguish which sites actually have free downloads that are legal. When it comes to downloading music, there are a number of hints that can reveal whether or not the site is legal or not.
The first thing to consider when looking at different sites, is whether or not the songs are downloaded music, or shared files. Chances are, if they are shared, they are illegal. A lot of times, a source will download certain hits into a network, and from there, millions of people get connected to that song. One way to immediately know if a song is downloaded illegally is to take note of when the sing is released. If a song is released on the sites before the release of the album, it has probably been downloaded illegally.
When illegal is downloaded, it is usually flagged. There are certain trackers that find the people who are downloading illegally, and they get in trouble. Depending on how many songs the user has, will determine how much trouble they get into. Typically, the average person will have a couple hundred songs downloaded onto their computer, so the consequences might not be as drastic. However, in some cases, there have been entire search engines that have been shut down because of the illegal downloads.

No, I really do miss him, I think, maybe. No I don't. I'll have to think about it. Oh, screw it. I don't really know.
Why bother explaining myself. I need 9 lemons.
Insulting me (weakly, I might add) in the chatroom for no reason other to be banned and forever be an attention whore. I don't miss him one bit. I don't think I have read a single worthwhile post by him in the last months.
Yeah, I really don't see why he's so popular 'round here.
Anyways, good idea for a thread, hopefully more people can discuss on the forums without the HAIs and the Prayermads on their backs...

mr. idiot i dont appreciate being mentioned alongside HAI
You're not nearly as bad as HAI, but I'd put you near the top on the list of most likely to discourage newcomers. No offense.
I reckon you should make that list. It'd get at least a dozen favourites. People love that sort of shit. Genesis_Jaime @ 01/07/2009 07:06 PM :
Namey brings the samey old to the ring

When I'm in one of those DESPAIRING WITH HUMANITY moods tommo @ 01/07/2009 07:03 PM :
Oh, another suggestion for automatic recommendations...
Would it be possible to "freeze" recommendations so the list would stay even if the ratings changed?
I have another account which I have used to get recommendations related to a specific groups of genres, I have rated bunch of albums there, got a bunch of recommendations and then deleted the ratings because I don't want to keep them influencing the overall ratings (even though that account has zero weight). However, now if I remove the ratings I lose the recommendation lists too, so it would be nice if I could just freeze it and be able to return to it later.
If you don't use the account for anything else, why not just wishlist all the recommended albums of interest before deleting the ratings again? credo @ 01/07/2009 07:03 PM : Haha, I think I may have to see Idioterne before I make any other comments :-) sharifi @ 01/07/2009 07:02 PM : Re: Why get rid of albums in bold font? :( It's back. It should be working the same way as before; let me know if not!
Another indicator of a legal download site is to look where the source of the song is coming from. For example, when the song source is listed under so and so’s library, the chances of it being an illegal download are high. On the other hand, many free legal downloading sites have free that is available and can still be stored in the user’s library, but they are not listed as the song’s source.
Finally, finding a legal downloading site is not hard to do, since most of the illegal ones have been shut down. There are plenty of sites that offer free downloads that are of high quality. It is a matter of a little bit of research, but it is very doable. In addition, someone can get thousands of great downloads whenever they want, and it is legal.
