Olympics, HD and Cool-Sat.com drive Home Theater upgrades
August 26, 2004 -- Even though the High-Definition feed for the Olympics is delayed by one day, the resolution and clarity of the broadcast is encouraging more to view the events via the HD version channels. Many current owners of non-HD satellite equipment have been considering when is the right time for upgrading. Through a remarkable offer from Cool-Sat, many are now able to afford the cost of the upgrades.
" We are seeing tremendous interest in our products by virture of the Olympics ", says Cool-Sat president Bill Thanos. " HD quality images allow viewers to see the event results the first time due to enhanced details of 4 X resolution. Those Home Theater users who already have HD are saying that they are preferring to watch the HD feed by a four to one margin."
Cool-sat.com allows the price of entry to the HD enabled system to drop dramatically. By offering free HD receivers, DVRs and Satellite installation from Dish Network, Cool-sat saves upgraders about $1000. That money can be spent to upgrade the most costly element in the HD system, namely the monitor.
"The savings can literally mean the difference between being able to afford a 50+ inch HD television versus a sub 42 inch HDTV. Our customers are thanking us for allowing them to purchase a more stunning system ", continues Mr. Thanos. "The promise of high - quality television and programming has been made available to a wider audience, and the Olympic Games have highlighted the benefits of the improved television technologies".
